Why we fundraise
Although the Tracy Unified School District offers the Performing Arts Magnet program to students, they do not provide complete funding for the program. The Tracy Bulldog Band Booster Club helps to supplement the program to ensure the children can participate in meaningful and fulfilling events. Many of the funds that we raise throughout the year are spent on items like:
Instrument purchase and repair
Uniform replacement/repair
Licenses for the performance music
Transportation of students to events
Moving van rentals for instrument transportation to competitions
Competition circuit entry and membership dues
Meals, snacks, and water to ensure that every child has food during off-site events

Qualification needed for our fireworks booth application
Part of the application process is to gather information about Tracy residents who support having the Band Boosters having a fireworks booth. Historically, this has been a great fundraiser for our organization. We have applied but not been selected in the past 2 years for a booth and we are trying again for the 2020-2021 school year. Please consider supplying your information if you are a Tracy resident--it will be kept confidential and only used for our application submission.

Make a donation to the Band Boosters
Does your employer offer incentives like matching for your donations to 501(c)(3) charitable organizations? Are you looking for a charitable organization to donate cash for your taxes that will provide benefit to the band programs of Tracy High School? Contact the band boosters and we can provide an official fundraising letter with our federal taxpayer identification information required for corporate and individual donations.

We hoped this would be a year full of wonderful band activities, but with COVID-19 the extracurricular band activities are currently cancelled. We will provide more information about fundraising as the situation changes.
